Undergraduate and Postgraduate Trainee Surveys

Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) access a number of surveys to support decision making regarding the quality of undergraduate and postgraduate dental education and training in Scotland. Information about the surveys is below.

Outreach Placement Survey

This annual survey of all undergraduate students in outreach placements takes place in November/December. The results are discussed with the aligned universities.

Dental Postgraduate Trainee Survey

The PSD Scotland Dental Directorate run an annual survey of all Dental Core & Specialty trainees. The survey normally runs in October/November each year.

GDC National Training Survey

Annual trainee surveys are conducted by the GDC, this includes the Advisory Board for Specialty Training in Dentistry (ABSTD).
