Turas
uras is NHS Education for Scotland’s (NES) single unified digital platform for Health and Social Care professionals. Using Turas, you can access NES applications with a single secure sign on.
As a TPD you will have access to the following sections:
- TPM (Training Programme Management) – where you will be able to sign off Study Leave and view the trainees you have in the programme(s) you manage.
- Portfolio (for FPDs) - where you can view and sign off assessments for your foundation trainees.
- Learn - NES' platform for learning and support resources.
You can access Turas here: https://turasdashboard.nes.nhs.scot
On your appointment to a TPD/FPD role, the deanery will activate your account and you will receive an automated email from the system containing your login details. Your local deanery administrator can show you how Turas works, and once you are up and running there is a helpdesk option within the system where you can raise any queries/ask for help.
