Foundation Trainees can apply for an Inter-Foundation School Transfer to allow then to continue training in another part of the country if there have been unforeseen or significant changes in their personal circumstances.
Foundation schools will only consider applications for a transfer from medical students if they have been accepted for foundation training, allocated to a foundation school and their circumstances have changed since they originally applied.
