Trainee information
Resident doctors are required to provide at least 6 months’ notice of an upcoming OOP application. This provides sufficient notice to ensure the relevant evidence has been provided, allows administrative checks to take place and to seek approval from your programme director and Post Graduate Dean or nominated deputy. This will also allow sufficient notice to the service.
Please note if you do not submit your application by the deadlines below your application is unlikely to be supported and you will have to submit a new application to meet the required deadlines. Any applications that are submitted after the deadline will only be considered at the discretion of the Post Graduate Dean or nominated deputy.
