Professor Alan Denison is Dean of Postgraduate Medicine and operational lead for the Scottish Clinical Leadership Fellowship. He is Lead Dean Director for training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Community and Sexual Reproductive Health and for the Diagnostics Specialties (including Pathology, Infectious Diseases, Radiology). He is the NES lead for medical ACT and co-chairs the Advancing Equity in Medical Education Group. He is lead UK Dean for Renal Medicine, Infectious Diseases and for the Curriculum Advisory Group of the GMC. He is a council member of the Academy of Medical Educators, a GMC Education Associate team lead, and also works clinically as a consultant radiologist in NHS Grampian.
