St Andrew’s Day symposium: Updates on Acute Medicine

Course/Event Date: Thursday, November 23, 2023

Course/Event Duration: 2 Days

Course/Event Description

As in previous years, the St. Andrew’s Day festival symposium for 2023 offers a great opportunity for healthcare professionals to develop and update their knowledge across a very diverse range of topics. Bringing together many different professionals from across Scotland and beyond, the symposium encourages lively debate and discussion, and challenges delegates to consider how their medical practice might evolve.

Some of the highlights in this year’s meeting include -

  • The treatment of acute conditions in the medical wards and in the community
  • Personal perspectives on the optimum management of common, and some less common, diseases – including illustrative case presentations
  • Future therapies – medical and non-medical

I very much hope that, as we are again given the opportunity to meet together in person, the symposium will attract a spectrum of professionals – doctors, physician associates, AHPs, speciality nurses and students. Gathering together to debate and share our experience and knowledge has been the cornerstone of the St. Andrew’s day meeting – don’t miss your chance to be there and contribute!
