SHARP (Scottish Health & Arterial Risk Prevention) are continuing their tradition of a 2-day Annual Meeting and will return to Crieff Hydro Hotel on Thursday 6th & Friday 7th November 2025.

This year’s meeting will focus on current dilemmas in cardiovascular and metabolic conditions, with relevance to both primary and secondary care.

SHARP Prize

The call for abstracts for the 2025 SHARP Prize is now open! We invite all healthcare professionals, researchers & students to submit an abstract for consideration for poster or oral presentation at the 2025 conference and for this prize.

SHARP welcomes abstracts outlining recent research, audit projects, or clinical audit/service improvements relevant to cardiovascular disease or diabetes.

Submitting an abstract and aiming for this prestigious prize not only showcases your research but also offers valuable opportunities to present your work in a friendly environment, advance your career and gain recognition in the field.

SHARP is dedicated to promoting excellent evidence-based care for patients at risk of or already with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and their complications. Your work and enthusiasm can help us achieve this aim.
