Day 2
• Present your study to the funding panel
• Project and data management
• Analysing your data
• Writing up and publishing your results
• Writing an abstract
• Introduction to critical appraisal.
Research is part of the ‘core business’ of the NHS, and all trainee physicians are expected to have an understanding of the process of research, so that you can support research activity. This course is aimed at early-years medical trainees (IMT2/IMT3/ST4), but is suitable for anyone who wants to gain a basic understanding of research methods and practice for clinicians.
