Delegates are expected to include health professionals and those who educate health professional, health care students, science educators plus families and carers.
Importantly, young people with Additional Support Needs will be presenting their perspectives on health education as part of the conference, including their investigations into how digital technologies can assist in health monitoring. The young people at two partnership schools have been on campus visiting the Strathclyde Living Laboratory Lab and investigating aspects of health and digital technologies and will be presenting their findings at workshops. The young people will be sharing the technologies that they have been using and talking about their thoughts on how to keep healthy, including by using technology to monitor health indicators. Some will provide hands on experience; others will present posters or other resources that they have prepared.
