Gut Club 2021-2022

Course/Event Date: Tuesday, November 16, 2021

Course/Event Duration: 3 Days

Course/Event Description

The Royal Society of Medicine is proud to host the first event of our Gut Club 2021-22. The aim is to give medical students and early career junior doctors interested in gastroenterology the opportunity both to present their work (be it research, clinical cases, quality improvement or a short piece of teaching) and attend a unique teaching programme delivered by leading gastroenterologists. The submission deadline for this event has passed, but there will be two further opportunities to present in 2022.

The three-evening series will be as follows:

November 16th 2021 – abstracts submission closed

March 23rd 2022 – submission opening after November 16th, closing 6-8 weeks prior to event.

July 19th 2022– submission opening after March 23rd, closing 6-8 weeks prior to event

Alongside presentations from short-listed projects, each event will feature high-quality didactical teaching sessions and insightful presentations from eminent speakers in gastroenterology, providing an invaluable opportunity to build your CV, learn about different aspects of clinical gastroenterology and network with other fellow students, junior doctors, and senior gastroenterologists. Those who attend in person will also get an opportunity to get some hands on experience with endoscopy kit.

Attendance may be virtual or in-person.
