Details of the current guidance from the Scottish Governmen on travel can be found here: https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-guidance-on-travel-and-transport/
Where travel overseas has been undertaken for compassionate reasons, you will still need to quarantine for 10 days on return to Scotland. Where possible, you should try to work from home for the 10 day quarantine period. If you cannot carry out your normal role from home, you should seek to identify suitable alternative duties and/or training that you can undertake from home for the quarantine period. Where that is not possible, you are entitled to receive special leave with pay for the duration of the quarantine period. New regulations coming into force on 16th February 2021 will require all travellers flying into Scotland to self isolate in a hotel provided for the purpose. You will have to bear the cost of this personally.
