  • Lots of exposure to, and experience in, management of high risk Obstetric patients, with supportive two tier Labour Ward rota (Consultant Obstetricians resident until midnight daily)
  • Tertiary referral centre for Gynae Oncology, Reproductive Medicine and Obstetrics
  • Plenty of experience available in managing acute gynaecological emergencies, e.g. ectopic pregnancy
  • Regular educational meetings e.g. weekly Perinatal meeting and CTG meetings, monthly Obstetric “Lessons Learned”, Gynae M&M and Risk Management meetings
  • Free accommodation for rest after on-calls on request
