Expert Speakers: Hear from a range of fantastic speakers including our keynote speakers:
- Dr Andrew Epstein MD, speaking on the goals of perioperative medicine. Dr Epstein is a Medical Oncologist and Palliative Care physician in New York, whose research focuses on improving the delivery of care to patients and their families by optimally integrating cancer care with palliative medicine, aiming at reducing distress and maximizing quality living for people with serious illnesses.
- Dr Mark Johnstone speaking on Shared Decision Making. Dr Johnstone is a consultant Geriatrician, and the POPS Clinical Lead for Liverpool University Hospitals, as well as the BGS POPS SIG Co-Chair.

Shared Decision Making Workshops: the realistic medicine team are holding 3 x 1 hour workshops for 20 delegates each. The sessions will comprise a live demonstration and discussions, and are chaired by clinical specialists in realistic medicine and palliative care.
