Scottish Intensive Care Society 2026 Annual Meeting

Course/event description

The Scottish Intensive Care Society is a charity registered in Scotland with the purpose of improving Critical Care across Scotland. The society acts as the voice of the Critical Care multi-disciplinary team, and our meetings provide a unique opportunity to connect with each other.

Our Annual Scientific Meeting is being held in the beautiful Crieff Hydro on Thursday 30th April and Friday 1st May 2026.

Our programme will offer a fantastic clinical line up of speakers covering clinical and research updates, moral and ethical dilemmas, hands on practical sessions and an MDT specific parallel programme. After some rather challenging years we are perhaps more importantly offering the opportunity to reconnect with each other. We will be hosting the social event of the Scottish Critical Care Year with a magnificent dinner and ceilidh.

Crieff Hydro are pleased to offer SICS delegates a special conference rate for accommodation, please visit the Accommodation page for more information.

Programme highlights include:

  •  Illegal drug misuse and the increasing challenges in critical care and beyond
  •  The future of ICM in Scotland and the UK
  •  The transplanted organs journey
