Glasgow FUSIC Course 2026

Course/event description

Have you ever found yourself wondering if the hyperdynamic LV you've just seen on an ICU patient's echo represents hypovolaemia or vasodilation?

Do you want to learn how to estimate pulmonary artery pressures and quantify the risk of raised left atrial pressure without inserting a pulmonary artery catheter?

These clinically relevant questions and more can be answered at the bedside using echocardiography. If you want to increase your echo knowledge and skills then this year the Glasgow FUSIC course are running a "Beyond FICE" day alongside the annual basic FUSIC heart course.

This more advanced echo course ran for the first time last year and was well received by those who attended. Some sample feedback is below:
