Edinburgh Clinical Neurology course

Course/event description

A well-established annual 2-day course with a practical emphasis, for anyone with an interest in neurology.

A well-established course with a practical emphasis, for anyone with an interest in neurology.  This annual course has now been running in Edinburgh for over 40 years.

The programme has a practical approach that will appeal to everyone with a passing interest in neurology, whether trainees, young(ish) consultants or seasoned veterans. This "no nonsense" approach, instilled by its founder Charles Warlow, is the central attraction of the course, together with its own unique brand of informality and Scottish conviviality.

Registration

Registration for 2026 is now open via 47th Edinburgh Clinical Neurology Course

The cost of the course is £360 which includes course fee, lunch and refreshments on both days plus course dinner at David Bann Restaurant.

Scottish trainees (numbered neurology ST trainees) are eligible for a discounted rate of £190.  When applying for the discounted rate you must enter your training number (you will not achieve the discounted rate if you do not include this in your registration).

Registration will close at midnight on Sunday 13th September 2026.

Book early as the course always sells out, and thus early booking is recommended to secure a place and ideally before you book travel and accommodation.
