British Thyroid Association (BTA) Trainee Educational Meeting

Course/event description

The next BTA trainee educational meeting will be held virtually on Wednesday 14^th October 2026 14.00-17.00

Although the meeting is primarily for trainees in endocrinology, all grades of healthcare professionals working within specialties treating patients with thyroid disorders are welcome. Sessions in this meeting:

Thyroid Function Tests and Subclinical Thyroid Disease
Paediatric Thyroid Malignancy
Thyroid Imaging

This meeting has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK for 1 CPD credit.

Registration Deadline: Wednesday 7^th October 2026

Fee: £20

Call for Case Presentations:

Submissions from trainees are invited to present and discuss interesting cases. Accepted abstracts will be presented as Oral Communication. Only one abstract per author will be accepted.

Deadline for Submission: Wednesday 16^th September 2026

Prizes: Two prizes are available for the best Case Presentations

Abstract: The abstract must be a maximum of 300 words and include a short summary of the case with learning points/points for discussion.
