In 2023/2024 there were 5930 undergraduate medical students across 6 Scottish medical degree programmes. The table below highlights the steady increase in medical undergraduates which has occurred in previous years; this figure has increased in line with current Scottish Government policy to increase medical graduates in Scotland.
