* This programme is designed to facilitate experienced healthcare professionals living and working in Scotland to train to become doctors. Students study part time for three years whilst continuing part time in their employment; they are attached to a local GP for placements and spend 3 full time weeks in Edinburgh each year for the first three years and join the main MB ChB programme for their final two years.
